I'm blogging from the beach in Destin Florida... Pardon my typos-the sun is bright and I'm using my phone. Why the hell I waited so long to come here is now a distant thought as I fantasize about how I'm going to find a way to stay.

Oh my gosh, you are SO lucky! Are you alone, with girlfriends, or with the Rae boys? In any event, a lovely day at the beach is one of life's true pleasure, and I'm glad you're enjoying yourself. Isn't that near Panama City, home of the shop-lifting, pina colada-swilling, melanoma-inducing inaugural spring break for the pi phi girls? xoxoChi-Town Pal
I guess my comment response post didn't come through after all . . . it got lost in the black hole of cell phone web connection. Yes - we were but 50 miles from the scene of freshman year spring break bus trip . . .but things have changed a bit! Same swilling action going on . . . and definitely major skin sacrificing. We all got violently burned! Same white sand and turquoise clear water. Awesome. And hot. But it's hot everywhere!
