Just listening to a Bruce song. Perhaps I haven't always been able to get to the ocean, Lake Michigan, etc. but I can always get down to 'the river!'

On the eve of my 50th birthday

Don't post much, but thought it appropriate that I share my thoughts tonight. I got nothing!!!

I wish this seemed more pivotal, transitional, whatever . . . but it doesn't. So: keep calm and carry on.

Maybe I'll be more inspired when I turn 60. Kidding!

Kerfuffle

My eldest son loves this word: kerfuffle. Turns out he learned it in the UK this summer. Totally possible he is lying about that. But upon research, it is a Scottish based word for a disturbance or a fuss. OMG! The Rae family is all about that!

I am pretty sure that you and yours experience kerfuffles(sp) on a daily basis. Please let me know how this is going for you.
