Something in common

Can't they all just get along? Well, turns out that they can, assuming I buy them something! I had peace for an entire afternoon, from shopping to building to the launch. I actually thought I might take a run on the new skateboards, until Mary Jo informed me of how dangerous it is . . . I guess I knew that. So who wants to spend summer in a cast?

The only way I'm getting on a skateboard is by sitting!

Building things is so good for kids. Their minds connect with their bodies. Good job!

Have you seen the "Dangerous Book for Boys"? I just had Steve buy it at Borders (had a coupon). It is really quite clever. John and I had a fun time skimming through it. Topics range from building a treehouse, skinning a rabbit, to grammar and recommended readings - all the boyhood classics (no Nancy Drew on that list!).BTW, I got on the skateboard - I had John hold my hand on one side and Gavin on the other. Woo hoo!
